Jim Arendt
Director of Golf

Jim was born on December 5, 1964 in Willingboro, New Jersey.  He has been playing golf since he was 7 years old.  Jim received his BS Degree in Managment at Shorter College in 1986.  He was assistant golf professional at Coosa Country Club in Rome, Georgia from 1985 – 1990 and Chattahoochee Golf Club from 1990 – 1991.

In 1991, when Chicopee Woods opened its doors, Jim became the Head Golf Professional.  Jim is currently the Director of Golf and was named Georgia PGA Merchandiser of the Year in 2004 and 2007. He is currently serving as President of the  Georgia PGA.  Jim is married to Angie Arendt with three kids; Jackson, Carter and Madison.

Greg Lee
PGA Golf Professional

Greg is originally from Middlefield, Connecticut. The son of a Golf Professional, He began the game at age 6. He moved to Athens, Georgia in 1996 with his wife, Sonya and Children, Amanda and Matthew.

Greg was an Assistant Professional at Harbor Club, Port Armor Resort, and most recently Jennings Mill Country Club. He Joined the staff at Chicopee Woods August 2005. He was a 3 time winner of the GPGA Assistant Professional Player of the Year Award. His Tournament wins include The 2003 Atlanta Open, 2004 Club Professional Championship,  2006 Georgia PGA Championship,and the 2007 Match Play Championship.

Jeff Frasier
Director of Instruction

Jeff was born on February 4, 1974 in Lakeland, Florida.  He has been playing golf since the age of 13.  Jeff was an Assistant Golf Professional at Misty Creek & Fiddlesticks CC in Florida and Indian Hill Club in Illinois.  Jeff was a Lead Instructor for Dave Pelz from 1999-2005 expanding his knowledge of the Short Game.  Jeff lives in Athens, GA and is married to Amy.  They have a little girl named Makayla.  He started teaching at Chicopee Woods in Feb. 2006.

He has been a member of the PGA since 1999 and a member of the PGA President’s Council on Growing the Game since 2005.  In 2007 & 2009, he recieved the Georgia North Chapter, Junior Golf Leader of the Year.  In 2009, he received the Georgia Section, Growth of the Game Award.  He was a tournament winner in 2008 at the Legacy Invitational in Augusta.
